By accessing or using ValidDraft, a service provided by Sotolis, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ValidDraft is a behavioral biometrics verification service that analyzes writing patterns to verify human authorship. The service provides:

• Humanity score calculation based on behavioral signals
• Writing process analysis
• Verification reports and certificates
• API access for integrations (paid plans)

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent or manipulate the verification system
• Use the service to facilitate academic dishonesty
• Submit content that violates any laws or third-party rights
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

5. Verification Accuracy Disclaimer

Probabilistic Nature: ValidDraft's humanity scores are statistical assessments based on behavioral patterns. While our algorithms are designed to accurately distinguish human writing from AI-generated or fraudulent content, no verification system is 100% accurate.

Recommended Use: Humanity scores should be used as one factor among many when evaluating content authenticity. We recommend:

• Using verification results alongside other assessment methods
• Allowing for human review in edge cases or disputed results
• Considering context and circumstances of the writing session
• Not making irreversible decisions based solely on a humanity score

Score Interpretation: A score of 85 or above indicates high confidence in human authorship. Scores between 40-84 suggest mixed signals requiring additional review. Scores below 40 indicate significant concerns about authenticity.

False Results: We acknowledge the possibility of both false positives (flagging genuine human work) and false negatives (missing AI-generated content). Factors such as unusual typing conditions, assistive technologies, or copying from one's own prior work may affect results.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you submit. By using ValidDraft, you grant us a limited license to process your content for verification purposes. Our service, algorithms, and branding remain our intellectual property.

7. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. Refunds are provided within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

ValidDraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or service notification.
